winnower sends nothing.

winnower has no server, no account and no analytics, and it never sends anything about you or your browsing. Its filter lists come inside the zip, so it doesn't download anything once it's installed.

The sites where you've switched blocking off, whether winnower is on, and which filter lists are on. Chrome keeps these on your computer, and removing winnower deletes them.

winnower counts what it blocks on each tab while the page is open. The count isn't saved, and it starts again when you load another page or close the tab.

To block and hide ads on whatever site you visit, winnower needs access to every page. It uses that access only to block, to hide, and to show you in its menu what ran on the page you're looking at. What it sees stays in your browser.

This site has no analytics, ads or tracking scripts, and it stores nothing in your browser: no cookies, and no local storage. Its fonts come from the site itself, not a font service.

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any host, Vercel receives the requests your browser makes, including your IP address, to deliver the pages. Vercel's privacy policy covers what it does with them.

Downloads, releases, the source code and bug reports all live on GitHub, and GitHub's privacy statement covers those.
